Among many others, representative matters include service as Town Attorney for Callahan and Baldwin, Florida, acting as co-counsel in successful class action lawsuit against international engine manufacturer, authoring appellate brief for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. resulting in Georgia Court of Appeals upholding the learned intermediary doctrine, defending Eli Lilly & Co., General Motors, Medtronic, Novartis, The Trane Co., Benjamin Sheridan Corp., 3M, Suzuki, and other major manufacturers in products liability matters, service as a member of litigation team defending the Coca-Cola Co. in anti-trust lawsuit filed by Pepsico, prosecution of Bert Harris claim against the City of Jacksonville for local developer alleging damages in excess of $2,000,000, in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, securing an opinion affirming a summary judgment obtained for Aetna U.S. Healthcare against doctors suing for defamation, representing local municipality in administrative proceedings against the state of Florida, resolving them at six figure savings to the town, negotiation of union contracts for local municipality and representation Costa Rican fishing lodge in litigation arising from fleet-wide engine failure.
